OUR MISSION

The Strong Girls Club, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Manhattan, NYC, was formed in 2023 to empower women and gurls by fostering confidence and addressing mental health through strength training. We educate gurls (We welcome all individuals who identify as a gurl, including non-binary people, trans women, and those exploring their gender)  on proper weightlifting techniques, highlighting how strength training can enhance mental health, build self-confidence, and create supportive environments for success. Our vision is to normalize strength training for gurls, creating spaces where women feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in gyms and training facilities. Our long-term goal is to integrate our philosophy into existing training spaces across New York rather than establishing a singular facility.

STRENGTH CLASSES

Group of women at a fitness event called 'The Strong Girls Club' with a woman holding a purple bag that says 'You can't lift with us.' They are smiling and flexing their muscles, posing in front of a banner with illustrations of women lifting weights. The women appear to be diverse in age and ethnicity, and there is a dog among them.
